The Meramec Greenway Trail in this segment is operated by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Castlewood State Park Rock Hollow Unit and St. Louis County's Packwood Park. The trailhead is operated by the City of Wildwood. There are no restrooms or water at this trailhead.<br />

From the Glencoe Trailhead the Meramec Greenway Trail, locally known as the Al Foster Trail, runs east 2.5 miles to the Sherman Beach Trailhead. Most of the trail follows an abandoned railroad right-of-way. This trail passes through passive natural areas.
From Highway 109 drive north from Eureka to the intersection of Old State Road. Turn right (east) on Old State then immediately right onto Washington Avenue. This street will become Grand Avenue. Glencoe is a small community in the City of Wildwood. The Trailhead is located on the left side of the street.
